Why do I get disconnected when I get another incoming call on my phone?

Response:

If you have call waiting and have not disabled it you may get disconnected when a new call comes in.

To disable call waiting-

Windows users-
1. Go to Start
2. Go to Settings
3. Go to Control Panels
4. Open the Modem Control Panel
5. Click on Dialing Properties
6. Put a check in the box to the left of disable call waiting.
7. click on the drop down menu and chose *70.

Mac users-
1. Go to the Apple menu.
2. Go to Control Panels.
3. Open the PPP (or Remote Access) control panel.
4. In front of the phone number type (without quotes) "*70"
