Response:

1. How long does it take before you get disconnected?

If it is 20 minutes or more, it may be due to inactivity, at which time our servers will drop the connection. Inactivity is defined as idle time where you are not actively sending email or accessing websites during the connection. If it is less than 15 minutes, please call (303-692-9409) or email (support@mho.net) MHO technical support.

2. Try inserting three commas after the telephone number (test on all our dial-in numbers) to bypass the V.90 signals (i.e. 303-226-0722,,,). This may result in a slower but more reliable connection. Or you can try using our k56flex dialup number (303-390-4302) or our analog dialup access number (303-757-8144, which is meant for older modems like 33.6 and below)

3. Try rebooting your computer and connecting again.

4. Refer to the website of your modem's manufacturer for more specific troubleshooting information.

5. Check your configuration to make sure the information is correct. DUN (Dialup Networking) and TCP/IP information can get corrupted and may need to be reinstalled.
